This is a botanical-based musk oil blended with oud and civet paste. Pure civet's cat musk from Ethiopia has a very deep, intense, and spicy aroma. The musk is used as a natural perfume fixative to provide base notes for commercial fragrance companies. Perfume makers have prized civet musk for centuries because of its distinctive odor and preservative effects.
