Artemesia essential oil-wormwood
An essential oil steam-distilled from the flowers, leaves, and stems of the Artemisia Annua plant, Artemisia Oil is sometimes referred to as “Artemesia” or “Sweet Wormwood.” Pale and pleasant-smelling, the oil was originally a product of Serbia, though it has since spread to many regions of Eastern Europe. Artemisia Oil has a fresh and somewhat balsamic aroma, with a slightly spicy top note that eventually gives way to a green and vegetative-like dry down. In perfumery, artemisia is mainly used for soaps and cosmetics, often used to replace basil within local fragrance blends. Unlike other artemisia species, the “annua” variety provides very high essential oil yields when steam-distilled, making it the prime candidate for widespread use within fragrance. Intensely fresh and green, with a sweet and somewhat balsamic odor. Taste is bitter and herbaceous, often regarded as having a "burning" flavor.
All orders are processed within 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. We normally process them within 24 hours. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Shipping Rates and Estimates
We offer free shipping within the various locations but can take up to 7 days depending on the country.
If we do not offer free shipping to your country the exact shipping cost will be added at checkout. We ship worldwide.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Scents By Skanda is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@scentsbyskanda.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 60 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@scentsbyskanda.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
